Cater Galante Orthodontics Named Super Elite Invisalign Providers

Cater and Galante of Cater Galante Orthodontics have recently received the designation as SUPER Elite Providers of Invisalign.  This is a company designation that is awarded to Doctors who have reached a certain level of experience and expertise with Invisalign. Nationwide there are only 40 Super Elite Providers of Invisalign.

Invisalign is the name of the clear removable aligners that move teeth into perfect alignment without the use of brackets, wires and bands.  The aligners are worn a minumum of 22 hours a day and removed only for eating and brushing your teeth.  The aligners are manufactured based on a computer simulation that has been developed according to  the treatment prescription outlined by the treating Orthodontist.  

"Because the movements are small (1/4mm per aligner)  the teeth never really get tender and the discomfort level is close to zero. The majority of the time the patient will change into new aligners every other week, with each new set gradually moving the teeth into their ideal position," notes Dr. Paul Cater.

"We were certified in 1998 as providers of Invisalign and early on used the product on more simple cases.  As the company improved their manufacturing and software processes and we gained experience and expertise with the aligners, we have been able to treat most adult patients and a good majority of teens with Invisalign," according to Dr. Galante.
