Nov. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA - USA  Glaudé Productions books renowned Plastic Surgeon and Best Selling Author, Dr. Elizabeth Morgan as panelist for the Global Diversity in Healthcare discussion hosted by the American Institute for Managing Diversity (AIMD) – “2011 Pursuing the Promise Summit,” held at the Georgia Tech and Hotel Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia, November 8 - 9, 2011.

This Fourth Annual Diversity Summit, “Global Diversity – What Does it Mean?” featured luncheon Keynote Speaker Mr. Phil McKinney, Chief Technology Officer at Hewlett-Packard.  The summit provided attendees with an opportunity to hear alternative diversity management tactics and strategies for today’s and tomorrow’s global diversity challenges. Attendees included influential members of the corporate, education and philanthropic communities as well as diversity practitioners, human resource executives, and diversity council members, Diversity Leadership Academy graduates, and diversity champions from all sectors of our society across the country.

The summit served as a forum for discussion and exploration around issues of global diversity and diversity management, including strategies for achieving sustainable change on a local, national and global front. Keynote Speakers and panelists discussed global impacts in the areas of:  Healthcare; Technology and Social Media; International Affairs; Economic Development; Workforce Management; and Academic Professions and Higher Education.

ABOUT Dr. Elizabeth Morgan:

Dr. Elizabeth Morgan is a world renowned board-certified Plastic and General Surgeon with a broad base of surgical expertise based in the Atlanta, Georgia market. Dr. Morgan instructs as Clinical Chief of Surgery for the University of Medicine and Health Sciences -- upholding her tradition as teacher when in 1995 she was Assistant Professor of Psychology for the University of Maryland’s Asian Division; from 1999 through 2002 she was Assistant Professor of Justice at American University in Washington, DC; and 2006 through 2009, she was Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA Medical Center.

Dr.  Morgan’s General and Plastic Surgery Residences were at Yale New Haven Hospital; Tufts New England Medical Center; and Harvard Deaconess Hospital.  Dr. Morgan’s undergraduate training was at Harvard University where she graduated at the age of eighteen (18).  Aside from her current private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Morgan has developed successful practices in McLean, VA, New Zealand  and Chevy Chase, MD.  Dr. Morgan has been Chief of Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills and Los Angeles, CA.  Dr. Morgan is a  Best Selling author, with her book detailing her surgical training, “The Making of A Woman Surgeon” -- “The Complete Book of Cosmetic Surgery for Men, Women and Teens”  and “Solo Practice.”  Dr. Morgan’s other popular writings include serving as a Columnist for Cosmopolitan Magazine.
