Online sales are brighter since CKM Design's recent launch of a redesigned online store for Royal Essence Candles company. The Houston-based manufacturer and distributor, which provides high end candle and fragrance products for wholesale and retail customers nationwide. Royal Essence decision to tap CKM Design to develop a new look and feel for their online customers was based on the interactive marketing agency’s solid relationship with the candle company’s founder.
The unveiling of Royal Essence’s new site comes just on the heels of the confident prediction for strong 2011 holiday ecommerce sales by the Mercent eCommerce Performance Index.

CKM Design additionally performed an extensive data migration from Royal Essence’s legacy site while successfully preserving user account details, order histories, and product information. “Understandably, it was critical to preserve the integrity of Royal Essence’s data,” stated Clifford Murphy, founder and president of CKM Design. “This client has operated and maintained a great reputation for service since 1988, so our priority was ensuring that their customers experienced no disruption in service for online ordering.” A content management system, or CMS, will allow Royal Essence’s owners and staff to add and delete content, product photos, and product information.
