Outstanding Specialty Fabrics Projects Recognized PAMA members win big in 2011 IFAI Internationa

For more than 60 years, the annual IFAI International Achievement Awards have provided high-visibility recognition of the best products in the specialty fabrics market. Thirteen members of the Professional Awning Manufacturers Association won awards.

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- ROSEVILLE, MN, November 10, 2011 – Thirty member companies of the Professional Awning Manufacturers Association (PAMA) entered 87 awning, canopy and screen projects in the 2011 IFAI International Achievement Awards (IAA) sponsored by the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI).  Thirteen PAMA member companies won awards.

The 2011 International Achievement Awards (IAA) competition included 33 categories. IFAI received a total of 385 entries from 16 countries. Winners were selected based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function. Judges included industry experts, editors, architects, educators and design professionals who were selected for their knowledge in a particular field of study or product area.

For more than six decades IFAI’s IAA competition has recognized excellence in design and innovation, highlighting truly spectacular work in the specialty fabrics industry. The goal of IAA is to promote awareness of the specialty fabrics used in thousands of products and applications ranging in size and type.
