The Spa Day for Cancer Survivors will honor and pamper survivors with a menu of complimentary spa services from ABC Day Spa. Some of the available treatments include massage therapy, facials, yoga, nutritional counseling, reflexology and more. CentraState’
The American Cancer Society has long been an advocate of spa treatments for cancer survivors. Spa treatments can help decrease stress, anxiety, depression, pain and fatigue. ABC Day Spa and The Cancer Center at CentraState hope to also bring a sense of well-being and comfort to guests of the event.
Valentina Chistova, owner of ABC Day Spa, has been hosting events for cancer survivors in Monmouth County for nearly 10 years. She started the well-known ‘Just for Her’ breast cancer survivor’s day at AquaMedica Day Spa in Long Branch and through the years has served hundreds of women who have bravely battled against cancer with complimentary spa treatments. The event is especially close to Valentina’s heart; every generation of her family has battled cancer, including her mother.
Valentina is quoted, “My hope is that everyone can come to this event and feel relaxed and at ease. We are here for them. This is their day.”
