Do expats trust banks abroad?: A new poll asks how recession has impacted expat banking

Nov. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Just Landed, the global expat site, has launched the Expat Banking Poll, a social survey that will be promoted among more than two million expatriates. The poll is sponsored by Lloyds TSB International as part of the bank's decision to drive engagement with expats on social media.

"The financial crisis has impacted the banking conditions in many countries, and many expats are nervous about their choice of bank right now", says Daniel Tschentscher, Managing Partner at Just Landed. "We want to find out how this has changed their banking experience abroad, and how banks could improve their services to meet their needs."

He added: "Despite the credit crunch, expats are still a huge market, particularly in the banking industry. But as the business is constantly changing, so are opinions, and trusting your bank is one of the key factors in deciding to do business them."
