Furthermore, the mother had not complied with a court order to get drug tested, until a full year after she was ordered to provide a hair sample.

The mother had displayed confusing, belligerent and combative behavior at the court proceedings, while the father appeared to be reasonable and willing to do whatever it takes to care for his daughter. After examining all the evidence, the family court awarded sole residential, legal and physical custody of the child to her father while allowing court supervised visitation for the mother on a weekly basis.
