SWEET SOUL RECORDS Japan Set to Expand Online Sales, Marketing, and Promotion Capabilities

Nov. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Tokyo, Japan: Today, SWEET SOUL RECORDS, parent company lifesound, Inc., officially announced that it is expanding its online capabilities which will drive more online sales and provide talented independent soul artists with increased exposure.

In the coming days, SWEET SOUL RECORDS will launch a new web platform with the goal of consolidating its extensive media collection, adding an online sales channel and considerably more artist information, and deep social network integration. Visitors to the site will be able to read the latest soul, artists, and event news from Japan, listen to SWEET SOUL RECORDS artist sample tracks, or visit the SWEET SOUL SHOP to make purchases. With social network integration, visitors can “like,” “tweet,” or share video clips without being forced to leave the site

Michael Harris, Senior Manager, SWEET SOUL RECORDS says, “With our new platform coming online shortly, we’re very excited to be able to better showcase the talented artist we work with and who rely on us to put them front and center. By integrating social networking, we’ve given visitors more opportunity to interact with the artist and share their favorite artist information amongst their own social network friends. This web platform will also allow us to be more creative in and increase the frequency of our promotion campaigns.”

Though SWEET SOUL RECORDS is not a distributor in the traditional sense, they are an active player in discovering new talented soul artists and facilitating the release of their music in Japan. Their main role is to promote and support the artist while increasing sales of their music, and enhancing their recognition internationally. SWEET SOUL RECORDS has opened up new sales and promotion channels, and is currently increasing the number of albums imported or licensed for release in Japan. SWEET SOUL RECORDS is constantly seeking out new artists and providing those artists with new possibilities, so that they will be able to assist in creating a “New Soul Music Scene” in Japan.
