Whiskey Rodeo's Across State Lines Tour" Supports the Troops

Nov. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Whiskey Rodeo’s “Across State Lines Tour,” is off to a fantastic start.  The boys have been to Oklahoma, Texas, Los Angeles and are now on their way to Little Rock, Arkansas. Whiskey Rodeo’s tour officially benefits the VFW Foundation’s “Return the Favor” program, which is an awareness and fundraising campaign to honor, celebrate and support active-duty and retired military and their families. The band has been donating 100% of the GROSS sales of selected merchandise items to the VFW Foundation. The band’s keyboardist/percussionist/vocalist, Andrae Blissett is a Gulf War Veteran, and their graphic artist is a Vietnam-Era Veteran.

“This is the most ambitious undertaking for any indie band:  a self-funded, self-organized & self-promoted multi-state tour across 11 states.We’ve been on the road for a month now, and the gigs have been great," states lead guitarist Chase Carpini.  Whiskey Rodeo has been picking up gigs along their journey and are interested in picking up more.  If you would like to book the band in Little Rock, Monroe, Shreveport, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Houston, Galveston, San Antonio, and/or Austin, please send an email to: chase@whiskeyrodeo.com.  

Whiskey Rodeo utilizes the following equipment: Elixir guitar & bass strings, Pro-Mark ‘Hot Rod’ drumsticks, QSC loudspeakers, Mackie mixing consoles, Jameson Irish whiskey, Budweiser, microphones by beyerdynamic, Audio Technica and Shure. Chase, the bandleader and manager, exclusively plays Ovation guitars.
