Local Remodeler Wins Contractor of the Year

Nov. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- November 18, 2011 - Vita and Jerome Burdi, Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer and Certified Remodeler of DJ's Home Improvements in Franklin Square, won two Gold and one Silver Contractor of the Year Awards for 2011 in the categories of Universal Design, Residential Interior, and Residential Kitchen, respectively, at the Evening of Excellence award ceremony on Thursday, November 17th, 2011.

The awards dinner was held at the Venetian Yacht Club overlooking the Great South Bay in Babylon Village, attended by 250 NARI members and hosted by NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Members of NARI are pledged to observe the highest standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility in the conduct of business. Winners will have their work displayed in local and national publications in the coming months.

Vita and Jerry have been staples of the Franklin Square community for 30 years. As homeowners and business owners for over 21 years in Franklin Square, they are also members of the Franklin Square Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, Sons of Italy, National Association of the Remodeling Industry, plus the National Kitchen and Bath Association and awarded Big50 in Remodeling. Since 2006, DJ's Home Improvements, a husband-and-wife design and remodeling duo, have submitted various entries to the CotY awards. As remodelers with a reputation for delivering their projects on time and on budget, this is their sixth annual consecutive win!
