Proof Wooden Eyewear launches prescription wood glasses

Proof has continued to push the envelope with its classically styled wood frames. Initially, Proof focused almost exclusively on wooden sunglasses. Since the launch of the company Proof has seen tremendous growth and has been working to keep up with the demands of their customers.

Why the entrance into the prescription eye wear market now? For that  we asked Proof Wooden Eye wear founder Brooks Dame. "We've been working on a prescription model for a long time. Our focus has been on Sunglasses from the get go, but it has always been our plan to drop a prescription specific model. Our customers and followers on facebook and twitter really have been pushing for a prescription model. We kept on pushing it off to focus on our other models. Finally, after a lot of persuasion we took the prescription model off the back burner and really focused on it.  We took the Boise model which is one of our most popular frames and turned it into a model that your eye doctor can easily turn into your go to specs."

Proof has developed a new technology which allows optometrists to easily glaze Proof Wood Frames with your personal prescription.  Wood frames offer a unique look and feel that other frames can't replicate.
