Children’s Consignment Event in Central FL—Announces Pre-Black Friday Toy & Baby Equipment Show

Daytona Beach, FL – Posh Little Closet is excited to announce their Extra, Pre-Black Friday Toy & Baby Equipment show at Daytona Beach Alliance Church this weekend will be used as the forum to help raise awareness and funds for Pawsibilities.

PRLog - Nov. 8, 2011 - DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Owner Nannette Alban says their last event at the Ocean Center in September was a huge success –with over 2000 people in attendance.  “We are also taking advantage of our huge popularity in these tough economic times to help raise money and awareness for Pawsibilities, a no kill animal rescue group which provides foster homes for rescued pets to later match them with local families,” Alban says.  Posh Little Closet uses every event to raise money for charity.

These consignment events are designed to give the community access to children’s clothes, equipment,  and toys at a fraction of the retail cost, helping many families afford ‘nearly new’ clothes and toys for their children.  The business provides an environmentally friendly way for families in today’s economy to make money while selling children's outgrown items. Consignors earn 70% of the selling price!   “Our top consignor during our September show earned a check in the amount of $1821; not bad for a 3-day weekend!” Alban adds.

The event will be held at the Daytona Beach Alliance Church in Daytona Beach, Florida Nov. 11-12th.  November 11th will be the presale from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  During the presale there will be a shopping spree giveaway for FACEBOOK fans only.  “This extra event was designed to allow shoppers access to gently used toys and baby equipment at prices way below Black Friday deals,” Alban says.  “It’s Black Friday, consignment style,” Alban adds.  On the 12th, they will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Posh Little Closet will be helping Pawsibilities through their journey to raise awareness and raise funds.  Posh Little Closet will donate $1 for every flat donation made throughout the event and will provide Pawsibilities with a booth and distribute educational materials through coupon gift bags to the first 500 customers ($245 value).  During the presale shoppers will have the opportunity to purchase food and drinks as a donation to Pawsibilities.  Other fundraising efforts include a bake sale and a raffle. For more information on Pawsibilities visit www.paws-rescue.org.

“Volunteers are an integral part of our exciting sale,” says Alban. “Volunteers are needed to work before, during and after the sale,” she adds. They earn the benefit of shopping before consignors and before the show opens to the general public.
