Even Yehuda, Israel (November 8, 2011) – Covertix, an innovative provider of Information Rights Management (IRM) solutions for sensitive data file-level protection and control, today announced that Doron Zinger has been named as the company’s new CEO. Doron succeeds Alon Samia, who founded Covertix together with Tzach Kaufmann, the company’s CTO, and will continue to advise the company as an active board member.
Doron joins Covertix with the goal of accelerating the company’s global sales and developing strategic partnerships with leading vendors of complimentary solutions.
Doron’s appointment as the new CEO comes at a dynamic point in the company’s growth as the demand for Covertix’s IRM solution is increasing rapidly and the company is penetrating new markets. Covertix is currently growing its enterprise customer base and expanding across Europe.
Doron previously was the COO and Executive Vice President of ECI Telecom, CEO of VocalTec Communications, Venture Partner at Giza Venture Capital and CEO of RiT Technologies. Prior to his appointment as CEO of Covertix, Doron served as a leading management consultant in Israel, advising technology companies at their initial stages of revenue generation on building successful growth strategies and operational plans.
