MetalTech-USA Clads White River VA Medical Facility

Nov. 7, 2011 - PRLog -- The VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT makes available vital medical services to area veterans.  At the treatment facility, therapeutic and diagnostic services ranging from podiatry to rehabilitation are offered.

The design team set out to accomplish a number of objectives.  The project will consist of expansion, structural renovation and new construction components.  Once the White River Junction VA Medical Center facility is completed, a wider range of services will be available to Vermont Veterans.  A better patient experience, higher energy savings, and enhanced staff coordination are expected to result from such improvements.

MetalTech-USA will fabricate the MT Flat Lock wall cladding for the exterior of the structure.  The 20-gauge MT Flat Lock metal panels will be finished in blue gray.  For the building system, the MetalTech-USA custom stainless steel clips were used to meet durability needs.

“Meeting the performance requirements for this project was essential,” said Project Manager Patrick Wheble.  “In working with our client, we were able to develop the ideal applications capable of demonstrating the durability needed.”

The expansion portion of the project will enable the facility to provide better care to veterans.  Once completed, the residential facility is sure to be an asset to the underserved community of veterans in Vermont.
