Organising the Christmas party may take precedence over team building at this time of year but, the new Christmas teambuilding tasks developed by the Teamscapes team come Santa-approved!
As well as being terrifically tasty, culinary team building is a fun and festive way to spend the afternoon, helping team members wind down after a busy year whilst still reinforcing key objectives such as improved communication and problem solving skills.
The festive team building activities are available in a range of challenges. Suitable for large groups, the Christmas Teamcakes Challenge calls on team members to decorate a sponge cake in a festive fashion. But, the team member armed with the icing must be blindfolded and guided by their teammates’ voices to win.
The second of the new challenges is Christmas Canapes. A perfect ice-breaker, it can be undertaken as a prelude to other teambuilding tasks. Teams must devise, design and deliver a selection of canapés within a set time limit.
Poplar as a pre-party team building exercise, the cocktail challenge requires teams to work together to create a unique Christmas cocktail using the ingredients provided.
Finally, the chocolate challenge pits colleagues against each other to see who can design and make the tastiest chocolate bar or box. Participants can try the results and make a box of chocolates to take away and give as a gift.
