Valhalla, NY (November 2011)— The Louis R. Cappelli Foundation, Inc. has made a $5,000 contribution to the March of Dimes as a Gold Sponsor of its 2011 Real Estate Award Breakfast. More than 500 of New York metropolitan area's real estate professionals will attend the breakfast which will be held November 10 at the Renaissance Westchester, West Harrison.
Annette Trotta, Executive Director of March of Dimes Westchester office, said: “Louis Cappelli, who is a founding director of our annual real estate conference, has long been a supporter of the March of Dimes. Once again, we thank him for his generous support.”
Mr. Cappelli, a real estate developer, founder and CEO of Cappelli Enterprises, Inc., has funded more than $7,000,000 million in grants for educational, arts and health programs addressing the needs of at-risk children through the Louis R. Cappelli Foundation which was established in 1999.
On December 21, 2007, The March of Dimes honored Mr. Cappelli for his philanthropic activities at a breakfast that was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, another major Cappelli project. The hotel celebrated its grand opening the day before Mr. Cappelli was feted.
Mr. Cappelli said: “We are happy to support the much needed work that the
March of Dimes does to prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant deaths. We are especially proud to be a sponsor of the annual real estate award breakfast which is one of the most significant fund raising events for this vitally important non-profit organization.”
