PRLog (Press Release) - Nov. 4, 2011 - Three songs are spotlighted on the AirPlay Direct "Rock the World" compilation:
1. The American Way: The song written by Country Music Association artist H-II: Stephen Michael Apatow, from the album "Country Goes Global." As a Christian nation, our interfaith message is found in the overview "The Ultimate Objective," and reads as follows::
God is looking down on the picture in your community and he is in the person of every person crying out for help, rich or poor, suffering and afflicted. If we went house to house, and we were allowed to see the picture He sees, we would have a grasp on the responsibility He has entrusted into our hands or the mission. In short, it is from this vantage point, that we can embrace the message: "whatsoever you have done unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me."
2. Fly Again: The song written by Jamecia Bennett and performed by the Group "The Sounds of Blackness" (Sounds of Blackness - EPK 2011)
Sounds of Blackness has entered into a strategic partnership with the nonprofit organization Humanitarian Resource Institute (HRI), led by writer, composer, artist H-II: Stephen Michael Apatow. HRI is planning a series of promotional events and PSAs for the United Nations Arts Initiative to support humanitarian relief operations in the U.S. and abroad. The group's video, "Fly Again", is currently featured on the UN Arts website, www.unarts.org, and will be part of the organization’

3. Rock The World: The song written by H-II: Stephen Michael Apatow. Moving from the front lines during the Tour de America projects, to the policy and educational sphere, represents the focus of Humanitarian Resource Institute during the last 20 years. Arts Integration Into Education through the United Nations Arts Initiative is a global initiative to bring the work back to the grassroots level.... artists, the arts and entertainment industry encompass the vehicle.
The mission is focused on the big picture, identification of the needs and potential resources. This is accomplished by connecting with the executive directors of frontline service programs and working to address these needs in that community. Demographic analysis of the needs landscape and capability of the frontline programs to address them, provides us with the unmet needs overview. These unmet needs are then the focus of the communication objective, as the arts initiative serves as a "Bridge for Unmet Needs to Untapped Resources."
When we pull together all the pieces to accomplish this mission, we will literally "Rock The World."
