Reduce Holiday Stress with Thrifty, Easy to Make Decorations, Gifts and More

An annual survey administered by Deloitte found that rising prices of food and fuel are causing roughly 40 percent of consumers to tighten their Christmas budgets this year.  Among other things, consumers said they would be cutting back on store-bought decorations and reducing spending on gifts for friends and family.  In fact, 32.4 percent of people said they would spend less on gifts than they did last year, according to a 2011 survey from BIGresearch.
