Two band new ovens were installed in the past week and Brick’s will be able to offer their ready-made, home-cooked meals and sides in the deli. At this time of the year you may be eager to see the return of Brick’s deli platters, vegetable trays, and fruit baskets along with catering for your holiday gatherings. They will most certainly be waiting for your orders.
Bakery ovens that also needed to be replaced were on back order and should be delivered by Wednesday the 9th. The bakery crew is looking forward to using a new workstation as they return to decorating cakes with your favorite characters and designs. With the holiday season quickly approaching, you can rest assured Brick’s will be back up and providing you with delicious deserts for your celebrations. The bakery will be set to take your special orders for cakes, pies and holiday cookie trays.
Area families have made Brick’s fresh made kielbasa and sausage part of their traditions. After a few weeks off, Alan Sturdevant, the Brick’s butcher is eager to get to work with the brand-new equipment in the meat department. With Alan’s homemade sausage and kielbasa recipes, shoppers will be able to find their favorite flavors along with choice cuts of meat.
Lynn and Paul Reynolds have always run a very clean, nice store. Now, shopper will be treated to an even cleaner and nicer store. After all inspections are complete and the Brick’s family has a good majority of essentials in place, the store that’s been operating at 177 East Tioga Street in Tunkhannock since June of 1970 will be re-opened.
