Singers (beginners to advanced) who attend the week-long camp find themselves submerged into a world that’s all about what it takes to become a popular recording artist and how to maintain a rewarding career in today’s evolving music business.
Quickly fading are the days when record labels would discover new talent and develop them for delivery into the music business. Artists are now required to develop themselves into commercially viable products in order to catch the attention of record labels. “Many allow their fears to hold them back,” suggests co-founder Jim McMahan. Camp “Be IT!” provides a magical, mountain ranch environment for attendees to have fun bonding while participating in personal growth exercises specifically designed to help entertainers overcome their fears and make their dreams come true. “Most simply don’t know where to get started,” says co-founder Shawn Bray. Camp "Be IT!" brings together a support network of celebrity and industry professionals who act as mentors to help artists visualize and begin a realistic action plan.
