“Presenting concerts with performers such as Lukas & POTR who have credibility based on their integrity and desire to help humanity, is how we are pursuing our goal which is to create and expand awareness of the great potential possessed by many within the autistic spectrum to become valued employees and productive self-sufficient individuals,” said Jeffrey Stein, Founder and Chairman of Jobs For Autism.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real bring an electrifying energy to the stage that is rarely seen today. They exemplify the genuine art and soul of music and the lasting effect it has in bringing people together similar to a 21st century version of classic rock greats such as Jimi Hendrix. Lukas & POTR incorporate a spectrum of sounds and styles in their music, reminding us of the history of rock n’ roll, its blues-folk roots and the honesty that comes with it. Lukas’s experiences traveling on the road with his legendary father and other musical icons has had an undeniable impact on his eclectic sound and stay-true-to-you attitude that is the very foundation built around POTR’s pledge, “to always be real to who they are both musically and individually and for better or worse.”

“I consider myself a writer first and foremost,” said Lukas, “A guitar player second and a performer last. But they’re all pieces of the puzzle.”

Meaningful employment is the final piece that completes the puzzle for those within the autistic spectrum, helping these individuals to live a fulfilling and successful life. As the Jobs For Autism motto states, “Let’s Get to Work.”
