Northern Virginia Women’s Business Conference Adds Additional Speakers

Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- LEESBURG, Va. —  The Northern Virginia Women’s Business Conference taking place on November 18 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The National Conference Center (18980 Upper Belmont Place) in Leesburg, Va., announces three exciting speakers for the conference.

Jan Fox, four time Emmy award winning journalist, will speak on “The Power of Tweaks: Stellar Speaking –Power Presenting.”  As a speaking coach, Fox has turned many struggling speakers into superstars at the podium.  The results are immediate.

Renee Lewis, president of Pensare Group, has spent years helping leaders achieve meaningful results through alignment and building teams that excel in performing against common goals.  She’s been directly involved in eight start-up companies and has a passion to share “survival” techniques with others who can use them to create their own competitive advantage.

Patrice Tanaka is co-founder, co-chair, chief creative officer and what-can-be ambassador for CRT/tanaka, an award-winning, national PR & marketing agency whose brand vision and promise is what-can-be. She has been honored by many PR, marketing, business and civic organizations.  Tanaka is also the author of “Becoming Ginger Rogers…How Ballroom Dancing Made Me a Happier Woman, Better Partner and Smarter CEO.”
Fox, Lewis and Tanaka join key note speaker Cathrine Ann and others to round out a powerful, not-to-be-missed event.  Ann is the once-homeless founder of Consumer Connection Inc., a leading international customer service monitoring firm that employs thousands throughout North America.  After running away from her tumultuous childhood home, Ann spent time living in a car and on the streets.  She was able to turn her life around and start a successful business, Consumer Connection.  Today, Ann runs Consumer Connection and travels as a motivational speaker.  She is a respected multi-award winning entrepreneur and celebrated Canadian business leader.  Many other award-winning, respected businesswomen will serve as featured speakers throughout the day.  Closing speaker will be Tammy Darvish, VP of DARCARS Automotive Group who was recently honored as “Automotive Woman of the Year.”
