Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- With Hanukkah weeks away, an innovative resource for parents with young children is now available in a time-saving, “out-of-the-box” format from
http://JewishHolidaysInABox.com.  Offering comprehensive kits designed to give busy families a fun, easy way to celebrate Jewish holidays, Jewish Holidays in a Box, LLC has released Hanukkah in a Box to support parents, grandparents, and educators as they explore and learn with their children and grandchildren.  The website also offers a Jewish holiday calendar and free e-newsletter, Simply Celebrating!

Each Hanukkah kit (http://jewishholidaysinabox.com/jewish-holiday-traditions/how-to-celebrate-hanukkah/) includes a CD tutorial that teaches the key blessings, enabling everyone – regardless of background – to pronounce the Hebrew words with confidence.  A 16-page booklet offers a glossary, traditional foods, recipes, decorating ideas, and three core concepts selected for young children.  Bingo boards, dreidels, and game instructions are also included, along with blessings, songs, and custom thank-you notes.  A cardboard menorah comes with paper candles to color, so that no child is too young to “light” the menorah. Hanukkah napkins and ribbons make a home festive. With a special introductory price of $47.95, each kit provides scores of ideas that families can tailor to their needs and re-use year after year.  CD Tutorials without the kit are $15.95

Jewish Holidays in a Box is the brainchild of marketer/teacher/writer Ellen Zimmerman (http://JewishHolidaysInABox.com/celebrate-jewish-holidays) who spent a decade refining and testing her concept with interfaith and Jewish families.

“One young mom told me she was so busy, yet felt guilty she didn’t celebrate the holidays—or even attend the Judaism classes she signed up for,” says Zimmerman. “Jewish Holidays in a Box helps families like hers have fun being Jewish and learn the basics at the same time. My goal is to help families build powerful, positive memories.”
