Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Just days after being shortlisted for a prestigious national award, Wendy Eltze has been named as a finalist for a second award.

Wendy Eltze already knew she had reached the last stage of the Care Manager category of the National Care Awards. Now Thamesfield Retirement Village’s Care Manager has been named as a finalist in the Care Home Registered Manager category of the Great South East Care Awards.

“We were so pleased for Wendy when we heard she’d reached the shortlist of the first award but to be named a finalist in a totally separate set of awards is just fantastic,” said Paul Walsh, the Managing Director of the Care and Operations Division of Retirement Villages Ltd. “It is testament to her commitment and dedication that she has been recognised in this way – twice.”

Wendy will find out if she has received the top awards later this month (November).

Retirement Villages Ltd has been developing and managing bespoke lifestyle and care villages for the over 55s for 30 years. The pioneers of the UK model, the company now has approaching 2,000 residents living in 13 locations spread across 10 counties in the south of the country.
