Nov. 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Snoring is considered to be a harmful habit. Statistics show over 45% of American women say their husbands snore, and because of that, they fail to good night’s sleep. Snorers can’t really get a good sleep either, however, which is mainly because they wake up energy-drained and tired. The reason is, when they snore, they’re not getting enough oxygen in their lungs. In some cases, it can even lead to sleep apnea, which is a serious disorder, in which a person stops breathing for a while when they’re sleeping.

The dangerous effects of snoring are quite clear. But the fact is, medical experts have stated there are only a few out of total snorers who actually make attempts to treat their snoring. Treatments like surgery, or chemical sprays with side effects scare them.  Lately, however, mouthpieces have become more and more common.  A survey showed, in most cases, these mouthpieces are much more effective than other popular treatments.

TrustedExpertsReviews, a review corporation, recently published comparisons and reviews of  three of the most widely known snoring mouthpieces currently in the market. The article is published at the address: http://trustedexpertsreviews.com/snoring-mouthpiece-revie.... In their article, Snoring Mouthpieces Reviews, Zquiet was labelled as the ‘best stop snoring mouthpiece’. In the words of the author, Zquiet is “designed for optimum efficiency as well as comfort.” Apparently, Zquiet is also FDA-approved, and considered to be one of the safest mouthpieces, too.  \

Zquiet works by shifting user’s jaw slightly forward, thus opening up the constriction that blocks airway to lungs. It also has a living hinge technology which lets the user move their mouth freely.

The second featured mouthpiece was Snore Eliminator. Unlike Zquiet, Snore Eliminator can be fully molded however the user likes. It’s durable and soft. The downside to Snore Eliminator, in the words of the author, is “to use it, you have to submerge it in boiling water and shaped to teeth gums.” This means, if you leave it in water for too long period of time, the plastic would collapse and the appliance could get ruined.
The third mouthpiece reviewed by TrustedExpertsReviews is ProSnore II. It also works the similar way as Zquiet does – by moving the jaw forward. It is designed especially for people with sleep apnea, but is not as advanced and comfortable as Zquiet, the author states.
