The Sea Voyager was finally cleared by the Coast Guard, and its new passengers will be allowed to move in today, reports the Washington Post.
Molds are fungi that can be found both indoors and outdoors, and they generally grow best in warm, humid, and damp environments. For people sensitive to mold, exposure can result in a variety of symptoms—including nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing, or skin irritation—to more severe reactions, such as asthma and hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
“After so much wet weather this fall, we are seeing a huge increase in demand for mold testing,” states Joseph Frasca, Senior VP at EMSL. “We have helped numerous schools determine whether they have a mold problem, so that they can begin remediation right away if necessary.”
