Nigel Jones, Swansea Council’s Special Events Manager, said, “We are looking forward to a large crowd and a thoroughly enjoyable fireworks evening. Ensuring public safety is always a priority and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.”
“On the night, we advise people to get to the ground early to avoid queuing and allow plenty of time to see what’s on offer. We would also urge people arriving by car to park responsibly and be mindful of the residents living in the immediate area.”
Gates open at 5.30pm with entertainment beginning at 6.00pm. The evening will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display choreographed to music starting at 7.30pm.
Prior to the gates opening tickets can be purchased online at http://www.swansea.gov.uk/
The entrances near Gate 2 and Gate 5 will be open for ticket holders, whilst tickets can be purchased on the night from the Box Office on Gate 3 (Gors Lane side of the Ground).
Sparks in the Dark fireworks display is organised by The City and County of Swansea and is supported by The Wave and Swansea Sound.
