Need Help Writing Winning Proposals for the Lifelong Learning Programme?

Idox Information Solutions is pleased to announce the launch of its latest training course: Writing Winning Applications for the Lifelong Learning Programme.

Nov. 2, 2011 - PRLog -- In August, the European Commission launched its 2012 Call for Proposals for the Lifelong Learning Programme – its flagship funding programme in the areas of education and training. To coincide with the Call and the February 2012 deadline, Idox Information Solutions will be running its “Writing Winning Applications for the Lifelong Learning Programme” training course on Thursday, 1 December in central London.

Complementary to our existing courses in European funding, this new CPD-accredited training course will provide local authorities, schools, colleges and universities, other public and third sector organisations and SMEs with detailed advice on how to write a highly competitive proposal. The course is ideal for anyone who is considering applying for any strand of the Lifelong Learning Programme – including Comenius (Schools), Erasmus (Higher Education), Leonardo (Vocational Education and Training) and Grundtvig (Adult Education) and who wants to learn how to improve their bid and understand the criteria to succeed.

The course will take place on Thursday, 1 December 2011 at the Idox offices at Chancery Lane, London and is priced at an introductory rate of £195 plus VAT per person, which includes lunch and light refreshments during the day and covers the costs of course material.

This new course will be led by Ritchie Head. Ritchie was previously Director of a Regional Contact Point for European Research and Innovation funding where he built a team of five consultants. Prior to this he worked as a Research Manager at TNO in the Netherlands where he was highly successful at winning European grant funding.

Learning outcomes are as follows:

• Understanding the key Success Criteria for LLP proposals
• Understanding how to build a strong consortium of European partners
• Understanding the “Euro-speak" to interpret the call and identify policy drivers
• Understanding how to structure and write strong project sections
• Understanding how to identify and demonstrate impact of learning and training projects
• Knowledge of how to write convincing dissemination and exploit projects
• Understanding how to critically review and refine draft proposals
