“Our goal is to make the ESI discovery process more efficient, cost-effective, and assist our clients in avoiding the not-so-obvious obstacles along the way,” says Thurston.
Thurston served many years as a trial attorney in private practice in Chicago and Philadelphia with a focus on complex litigation, but he also has extensive experience in legal technology. During the late 1990s and early 2000s, Thurston owned and operated his own legal technology consulting company and lectured widely on the Internet, electronic discovery and other litigation technology topics. Most recently, Thurston participated as a member of the Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program Committee, the group that developed the first ESI protocol being piloted in all federal courts in that circuit.
Thurston received his Juris Doctorate degree from Ohio State College of Law (now Moritz College of Law) in 1987 and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1984. He was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1992, the New Jersey bar in 1988, and the Pennsylvania bar in 1987.
