Devin Kowl Is On The Rise

Nov. 1, 2011 - PRLog -- The Songwriters Association of Washington presents On the Rise. A showcase created to spotlight emerging artists of Soul and R&B music.  Devin is one of a handful of local and nationally artists chosen for an event of talent. The Songwriters Association of Washington will also showcase a select group of singers, songwriters, and performers all under the age of 18. The inclusion of Devin to this talented roster speaks volumes to his credibility, natural talents and his iconic potential. One of the evening performers will be Darien; winner of the 2010 Budweiser Superfest “Battle for the Crown” and 2010 soultracks.com artist of the year.

Devin is a Pop and R&B singer with a stunningly clear voice that affects his listeners with melodic notes and inspirational lyrics. At the tender age of 16; Devin is already creating quite the resume for himself. Devin has been a featured vocalist for several corporate, nonprofit, and private functions. In 2010, Devin was the guest performer for the 8th Annual Team NuVision Leadership Summit in Long Beach, CA to over 2,000 enthusiastic attendees; where he debuted his inspiring and catchy single “All Gone”.  Most recently, Devin was the opening performance for the 5th Annual DC Lupus Walk.

In summer of 2010, Devin released his youthful and contagious EP. Devin is truly a one of a kind performer. His natural music ability, determination, and mesmerizing sound make Devin a great addition to the evening of artist on the rise. He is making all the right noise in the music industry and the best has truly yet to come for this triple threat.
