Board certified in Pulmonary Disease, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care, Dr. Croteau’s practice specializes in Asthma, COPD/Emphysema, chronic cough, Sarcoidosis, sleep and breathing disorders, obstructive sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome.
An experienced physician with nearly 15 years practicing in the local area, Dr. Croteau completed fellowships in Pulmonary Medicine and in Critical Care Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, where she also completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine. She earned her Doctorate degree in Medicine from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island.
Prior to launching her private practice, Dr. Croteau served in a number of roles at Heywood Hospital over the past decade, including Chief of Pulmonary Medicine. As a Critical Care Specialist/Intensivist, Dr Croteau will oversee critically ill patients in Heywood Hospital’s new eICU, in collaboration with the hospital’s medical staff and UMass Memorial Medical Center’s Critical Care team in Worcester. She will continue to serve as Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center and the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Heywood, in addition to overseeing the Asthma Education program.
