A JAM Record recording artist Austin Adams performs at the APCA Midwest Regional Programming Confer

Oct. 31, 2011 - PRLog -- Nashville, Tenn.--A JAM Record recording artist, Austin Adams, recently performed at the APCA Midwest Regional Programming Conference.  The conference is one of several opportunities for new and established artists to showcase their talent to the college market.  A JAM Record/A JAM Production hosted a booth offering free gifts, including a 32” flat screen television and added incentives to capture interest and secure on-campus performances for Adams.  Attendees were encouraged to join the Austin Adams Social Media Fan Club, The Agency.

Originally from Atlanta, Adams grew up watching his father book major acts in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s.  It was at his father’s encouragement that Austin pursued his innate talent.  But for Austin Adams, it’s about people’s stories.  “When you get out and meet people through playing gigs, and they tell you their stories, each story becomes bigger than yourself,” shares Austin.  “In truth, music at its simplest form is a chance to connect.”

Adams’ first national single release, The Other Side will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 for $.99 on his website.  The 5-song EP same-titled project will be available for purchase in the spring of 2012 on his website in addition to all online digital stores.  

As an artist, Adams has multiple unique interests.  He has produced a 3-song Christmas project entitled This Season that he hopes will benefit thousands of less fortunate individuals and families.  To do so he has launched a new charity, Music for Food, to actively serve the homeless in Nashville and throughout the world through the give of music.
