The site's owner and designer, Andrea Pires, is an artistic twenty-seven year old with a keen eye for modernizing vintage pieces. Pires was born and raised in California, she graduated with a B.A. in fine art from California State University, Fresno and received a fashion marketing degree from Parsons The New School in New York City.

Pires has a passion for vintage clothing and has traveled the globe to find just the right pieces to feature on her website. Each item you buy at Vintage Diggs comes with a tag telling the story of its era and "excavation site".
