H.Y.P.E. Magazine has signed a sponsorship deal with Explore South Africa Tour (ESAT) for the 2012 Conscious Music Initiative, in a bid to increase their reach in the lucrative SA hip hop market.
The agreement will include competition spots and inclusion in all marketing campaigns for the ESAT across the continent. It also incorporates online activity such as logo and banner presence across ESAT’s network of localized websites for the tour. As an extra perk Hype Magazines readers will be offered a chance to buy tickets to the event online a week before they go on sale to the general public.
Sponsors will also be able to use the event’s logo in their own promotional activity.
The stellar hip hop event is set to attract one of the largest global hip hop audiences since the inception of hip hop, via the message of the tour as well as guerrilla marketing campaigns that will launch in December.
“As trailblazers in the hip hop world, ESAT is proud to partner with H.Y.P.E. Magazine. Since 2002 the multimedia platform has given its readers the best in mainstream and underground urban entertainment, we are thrilled to align with the media conglomerate in our global hip hop initiatives,”
Digi Pixel will also use the event to increase its appeal in South Africa’s hip hop market and will design the ESAT official logo and other official merchandise for the tour. The graphic design company is based out of Tunis, Tunisia. “I am just happy to be able to work and do what I love. It’s a great initiative and I am excited to be part of the Explore South Africa Tour,” said CEO Nizar Jendoubi.
Explore South Africa Tour will launch April 2012 and will broadcast live on multiple networks.
