fyiAuto acquires SwapRide and its Web Site Properties

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 29, 2011 - fyiAuto acquired 100% of the assets of SwapRide.com this week.  Properties included aero-swap.com, GoDealer.org and other SwapRide.com properties.  The deal, consisting of mostly cash, closed this week.  The transition period for visitors is expected to take not longer than 30 days and all traffic will be pointed to the new web site fyiAuto.com.

"The increase in overall traffic that we've seen in the past few days has been tremendous." said Andrew McKel.  "We believe the synergies are there to create a whole new way for consumers to buy and sell vehicle."

fyiAuto provides dealership ranking and dealership search technology free of charge to consumers.  fyiAuto is based in Miami, Florida.  With more than 250,000 active listings, SwapRide will be a significant addition to the overall value of fyiAuto.

"We now have the ability to combine dealership data and location information with consumer listed vehicles" said McKel.  "We're excited about the changes and with engagement up over 80% since the acquisition, I think our visitors agree."
