Chester County Authors Release Book of Short Stories

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 29, 2011 - In December 2010, author Jim Breslin of West Chester, PA had an idea: to create a book of short stories by the very best local authors he could find.  Now Jim and twelve other writers from Chester County have released their first book – ‘Chester County Fiction’.

‘Chester County Fiction’ (Oermead Press/ISBN 978-0615527451) is a collection of sixteen stories from thirteen authors who live and work in Chester County.  The stories explore a common history and shared bonds. They are stories about people in transition, struggling to find their place and peace in the community they live in, along with tales about love and loss, violence and heartbreak.

‘Chester County Fiction’ has received rave reviews since its release on October 2nd. Radio show host Steve Brodsky of WCHE called Chester County Fiction a “really important, interesting and enjoyable collection” and referred to Robb Cadigan’s short story ‘Baptism’ as “world-class fiction.”
