Sterlite Copper Trophy Cricket Tournament

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 29, 2011 - ‘Sterlite Copper Trophy’, a district level cricket tournament was organised in association with Thoothukudi District Cricket Association (TDCA) in which 12 colleges of Tuticorin participated. The tournament was conducted in 20-20 format on a knock-out basis.

Mr.VinodWagh, General Manager, Engineering Services inaugurated the event at Port Ground in September. VOC College beat Adithanar College of Arts and Science by 54 runs in the final to win the Sterlite Copper trophy.

Mr.Satyapriya, Manager, Legal, Sterlite Copper presented the trophy to VOC College. Mr.Sivakumaran, Secretary and Mr.Ganesh Kumar, Assistant Secretary, TDCA were present during the event.
