PRLog - Oct. 28, 2011 - LOS ANGELES -- LOS ANGELES, Calif., [October 28, 2011] – Page Private School’s student council partnered with BookEnds, a nonprofit organization to host a book drive to help students in schools and youth organizations in critical need of books. The local book drive was a success and Page Private School’s student council member delivered their collection of more than 1,500 children’s books to Futuro College Prep Elementary. Page Private School student council members were introduced to the second grade classes at Futuro College Prep Elementary and had the opportunity to read to the children.

Page Private School students are actively involved in local community outreach. Students are learning ways to give back to their community; from hosting book drives, to volunteering and tutoring. Students gain important life skills and actively participate in bettering their communities.
“It was such an amazing experience to interact with the students and see how eager they are to read, we would like to thank the Page family and the local community members for all of their support” says YeBin Lee, 8th-grade Student Council vice president. “A special thank you to Mr. & Mrs. John and Lyn Luzwick, former Page Private School parents, who donated more than 1,000 books after reading about it in the paper.”
