Former NFL Player Cleveland Gary Set to Appear at Fashion Show and Charity Event in South Florida

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Plantation, FL: Former Los Angeles Rams star Cleveland Gary will be a special celebrity guest  at an event held to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer on October 29, 2011 at the  Wornbyacelebrity’s Exclusive Fashion Show/VIP After Glow Party and Bachelor/Bachelorette Auction.  An autographed football from Gary will also be auctioned off and proceeds will benefit the Lustgarten Foundation.

Gary was a first-team All-American player who finished his University of Miami career rushing for 650 yards on 142 carries, 12 TD's and caught 67 passes for 794 yards and six scores.  Gary was also the first-round draftee of the Los Angeles Rams and had a wonderful career as an NFL player.  After retiring from the NFL, Gary is now best-known for being a renowned philanthropist, financier, mentor, educator, and national TV/radio talk show host.  Gary is a self-made millionaire and has been featured in numerous magazines including Sports Illustrated, Unrestricted Sports and Sport SI Vault.  Having served on various boards and committees, Gary donates time and resources to various non-profit organizations throughout the community.  Gary founded and operates the Black Shopping Channel and Healthway Shopping Network.
