Tevalis & J2 Retail Systems serve up new restaurant EPoS

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Tevalis, provider of restaurant EPoS solutions, and its hardware partner J2 Retail Systems have shared news of a further four restaurants that have recently installed their point-of-sale software and hardware.  The restaurants span the taste spectrum, from Caribbean to classic European, and from freshly-landed Cornish fish to Asian spice, and are located across the country from Covent Garden to Cornwall.

Each restaurant has installed Tevalis front-of-house and back-office software for EPoS and retail management operations, tailored where necessary to individual requirements.  The chosen hardware platform is the PC-based J2 650 touchscreen till.  This versatile and reliable EPoS device comes with a number of benefits for restaurant operators including a small footprint, silent operation and the option of wall-, counter- or pole-mounting.

Rhythm Kitchen is a new ‘foodie’ brand, all about bringing fun, tasty and healthy Caribbean Jerk cooking to Europe’s biggest urban shopping centre, Westfield Stratford City.  Rhythm Kitchen serves up authentic Caribbean food in a modern way, cooked by local boy Delroy Dixon, and is the only start-up restaurant amongst 300 established brands in this development.

The 10 Cases in London’s Covent Garden is another new business, a gastro wine bar with a difference.  Diners are treated to unpretentious, classic European cuisine from ex-Coq d'Argent chef Juliette Shallow’s  daily-changing menu.  Her food is complemented by the 10 Cases Concept - that the predominantly old-world wine list has just 10 whites and 10 reds, and 10 cases of each. When the 10 cases run out, the wine is changed so diners always have something new and interesting to try.

The Watch House is a new restaurant in St Mawes on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula. Chef Will Gould is proud of his seasonal menu focused on fresh local produce. There is a ground-floor dining area and an upstairs dining room with harbour views across to St Anthony’s Head. The building, a prominent part of the historical St Mawes Harbour, was originally a Customs & Excise Watch House Office, before becoming a restaurant in 1907.

In the crowded Indian Restaurant sector, The Spice Room in south London distinguishes itself by the quality of its food, service and ambiance.   The Spice Room is a social space where diners enjoy exceptional food in the company of professional Bollywood, Arabic & Latino dancers who offer spectacular performances, dance workshops & dance parties.
