2 Days Moderate Trekking in Tam Dao National Park

Oct. 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 24 October 2011, Vietnam Jeep Tours (VJT) has created new trekking tour to Tam Dao National Park in Vinh Phuc Province for the trekking enthusiasts.

As an average trekking trip, the first day is just a warm up trek from Tam Dao Park to visit Dragon Navel (Ron Rong), which is a middle point of 2 different pine forests and very beautiful falls for photo-hunt. Continue our walk to Love Valley to learn about the ecosystem of Tam Dao National Park – the combination fauna of species from both temperate forests and tropical rainforests. If lucky, travellers can see sore rare birds such as Black-breasted Thrush, Japanese Thrush and Fujian Niltava (often seen in winter).

The last day is more challenging with a climb-up by the rocky and steep jungle trails to reach Tam Dao Mountain for conquering the second-highest peak Tam Dao 2. Continue hiking and crossing short forests and bamboo forests to admire the beauty and richness of biodiversity of Tam Dao National Park. Another highlight of this trip is a pause at the ancient forest of Rhoclodentron Simmi with the most beautiful bloom of this forest is in January and February.
