Positioned to be UAE’s most economical Solar Energy provider, GRENSolar launched its first retail outlet in Dubai. His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, well known as the ‘Green Sheikh’ inaugurated the showroom and unveiled the logo at 10am, 26th October 2011 at Dubai Creek Tower, Baniyas Road, Deira, Dubai.
GRENSolar aims to provide quality solar energy solutions at an affordable price to all energy-alert residents of UAE. Its product range includes Solar Photovoltaic Modules, Solar Charge Controllers, Solar Inverters, Solar Batteries and is set to launch its own Solar Grid-Tie Home Power Systems.
Applauding Mr. Prabissh Thomas, the Managing Director of Green Energy LLC on his noble business venture, His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Ali Al Nuaimi stressed on the importance of sustainability and said “earth is where we stand on” and thus the need to support each other.
His Highness defined GREEN as “Global, Rethinking, Enlightening, Ethics and Networking”.
Studies have shown that the UAE’s energy consumption is growing at an average rate of 10 per cent, more than double the global growth of 4 per cent. Understanding the urgent need to find energy solutions that are both secure and sustainable, government in recent years has been keen on promoting alternate energy solutions. And this drive has resulted in huge projects like Masdar. Now, UAE is rapidly becoming a hub for renewable energy and technology.
