Nexus Insurance Services Launches Facebook Series to Help Prevent Medical Malpractice

Oct. 27, 2011 - PRLog -- Nexus Insurance Services will launch a Facebook series that offers health care tips to medical professionals that will help them prevent medical errors.  The series will last for one week starting on Monday, October 31, 2011, and will give the Nexus Insurance Services Facebook fans an opportunity to share their own thoughts and ideas on how to create a better health care system for all.  Each day the company will post tips and articles about ways to prevent medical malpractice.

Health care and medical malpractice tort reform has been an ongoing hot topic of conversation among legislature and the medical community.   Just recently, The American Medical Association (AMA) and other physicians’ organizations have asked the Congressional “supercommittee” to impose limits on malpractice lawsuits.  

“We want to build a Facebook community where people can share positive insight and experiences related to health care.  We also want to become a leading resource of information about medical malpractice and medical malpractice insurance,” said Michael Kataf of Nexus Insurance Services.  

Nexus Insurance Services also has a twitter page where the company shares news and articles about health care and medical malpractice.  The company recently hosted a health care chat (#healthcaretalk) to spur conversation about ways for health care professionals to provide better patient care.
