Second Hand and Used Motorcycle Parts Find a New Life at Redemption Cycles

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 26, 2011 - RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – Discarded used and second hand motorcycle parts are finding a new life in bobber motorcycles created by Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.-based Redemption Cycles.

“Instead of simply discarding used parts, we find ways to reuse them in our custom bobber motorcycles,” said Ricky Del Rosario with Redemption Cycles. “As custom motorcycle builders, we use those timeworn parts and creatively turn them into custom motorcycles.”

Way before the “choppers” scene, bobbers started the motorcycle club tradition in the 1940s and 1950s by taking used and second hand parts and creating hand-built stripped-down bikes called bobbers. These custom hand-made motorcycles usually feature a lighter stripped-down model with the front fender removed and the rear fender “bobbed” or slimmed down.

“At Redemption Cycles, we celebrate the core of the motorcycle without all of the chrome and unnecessary parts,” Del Rosario said. “The key is that we take the used pieces and hand build our custom bobber bikes at price that everyone can afford.”

In the spirit of redemption, the company not only gives motorcycle parts a second chance, but also believes in giving riders a second chance to own a custom motorcycle.

“We all believe in second chances at Redemption Cycles,” Del Rosario said. “This tough economy has forced many people to sell their more expensive motorcycles and our affordable price point is often times what allows riders the opportunity to get back out on the road.”

Redemption Cycles is currently preparing for the International Motorcycle Show taking place December 9, 10 and 11 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
