Alfred was born and raised in Short Hills, New Jersey, and graduated from Millburn High School, where he was captain of school’s wrestling team. He is the current coach of Millburn's youth wrestling team. Alfred is a graduate of Duke University (and former Blue Devil wrestler) and The Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He lives in Jersey City.
