National Office Systems Ranked Among Maryland’s Exceptional Businesses

The Gazette of Politics and Business last week announced its P&B Exceptional 53 Awards for Maryland businesses, and ranked NOS as 34th in the state. The 2011 competition marks the fifth year for the awards program and the second year in which NOS was honored.

Criteria for the awards include a company’s growth in annual revenue and number of employees, innovative products and services, efforts made to offset the economic downturn, community service and creation of a positive corporate culture.

Tactical Weapons Solutions, NOS’ newest division, won accolades in 2010 for an extensive installation at the new on-base armory at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas. The installation was designed to accommodate firearms, night gogggles and other equipment in customized weapons cabinetry, modified to enhance access and convenience.
