Go see a Planetarium Laser Show this week at Lenepe Valley HS near Rockaway Mall, NJ.

Oct. 26, 2011 - PRLog -- The Lenape Valley Regional High School Planetarium in Stanhope, Sussex County’s only such facility, will be open to the public for a LASER light spectacular produced and created by Prismatic Magic of Wayne, NJ. Prismatic Magic presents school based auditorium assemblies of its laser programs to several area schools throughout the year. For the first time in our area these programs can be seen as they were meant to be, on the dome of a planetarium.” These programs are generations beyond the laser light shows you might have seen during the 80’s & 90’s, when such shows first became popular”, said Planetarium Director John Scala. “ You will leave thrilled & amazed”. Laser generated images will be projected onto the planetarium’s 30 foot dome, synchronized to music themed to Halloween, current pop, and the classic rock of Pink Floyd.

The Halloween laser ‘spooktacular’ will show:
Thursday, 10/27, at 5 and 6 pm
Friday, 10/28 at 3 and 4 pm
Saturday, 10/29 at 12 noon and 1 pm
Monday, Halloween, 10/31 at 3 and 4 pm
Tuesday, 11/1 at 3 and 4 pm
Wednesday, 11/2 at 3 pm

Lasermania ‘pop music’ will show:
Thursday, 10/27 at 7 pm
Saturday, 10/29 at 2 pm
Monday , Halloween, 10/31 at 5 and 7 pm
Tuesday, 11/1 at 5 and 7 pm
Wednesday, 11/2 at 4 pm

Laser Pink Floyd will show:
Thursday 10/27 at 8 pm
Monday, Halloween, 10/31 at 8 pm
Tuesday, 11/1 at 8 pm

Ticket prices are $8.00 for students, $12.00 for adults, and $10.00 for Senior Citizens (60+), cash only. Reservations are strongly suggested, but not required. The facility seats 53, and is handicap accessible. No one will be admitted once a program has started- please be prompt!

Stanhope is exit 27 on I-80, about 7 miles further west of Rockaway Mall.
