“When I first graduated from college with a degree in Health Care Administration, I didn’t enter the workforce thinking I would work in long-term care. However, my first job out of college was at a nursing home where I worked for four years before joining Alden,” says Molitor. “That was 22 years ago and I never left. The feeling I get by making a difference in the lives of our patients is worth more than anyone can imagine.”
Molitor started at Alden Princeton Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on Chicago’s south side as the administrator. He soon rose up through the ranks to become a Regional Director, Vice President of Operations and COO in 2005.
“Since being at Alden, I have made it our top priority to put our residents first. Alden Management Services started 40 years ago because our President Floyd A. Schlossberg wanted a higher quality of care for a relative than he could find in any of the nursing homes at that time. At Alden, we set the bar high when it comes to quality nursing and rehabilitation services,” Molitor said.
As COO, Molitor is responsible for oversight of nearly 40 sites of care, which include rehabilitation and health care centers, memory care centers, assisted living communities and health facilities for the developmentally disabled.
