Ted Todd Insurance Agency takes delivery of new Chevy VOLT for making local house calls

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 26, 2011 - The Ted Todd Insurance Agency just took delivery of the third 2012 Chevrolet Volt delivered at Estero Bay Chevrolet. The Agency is using the Volt to make local house calls from its Bonita Springs/Estero office to review insurance policies in the quiet and comfort of their own homes.  

“This is a new program for us,” said Ted Todd. “Clients sometimes prefer that we come to their homes to work with them, even though our offices are usually close by. Getting a fuel-efficient Chevrolet Volt means we can drive throughout the day to and from our clients’ nearby homes and work with them one-on-one for about a $1.50 in electricity—a big cost savings to the office and the environment.”  

The plug-in, hybrid electric vehicle can run at least 35 miles gasoline-free on a charged battery, or switch seamlessly to a gas-powered generator that powers the electric motor for a greater range than other electric hybrids. “Customers are really impressed with the look, comfort, and quiet drive of the Volt,” said Charles Winton of Estero Bay Chevrolet. They also like the flexibility and longer range of the Volt over other models.”
