Juror’s Talk and Artists Reception for Sculpture Exhibit

PRLog (Press Release) - Oct. 26, 2011 - A juried exhibit of fine arts sculpture will be open at BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery through Tuesday, November 29. Juror is Barbara Hill, of Hill Fine Art Consulting, former Executive Director of the von Liebig Art Center in Naples. A juror’s talk will be held in BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery Friday, October 28, at 5 p.m. An artists reception and awards presentation will follow.
   Awards will be given to First Place ($750), Second Place ($500), and Third Place ($250), with two merit awards ($75 each), and The Gail Jones Memorial Award for an Outstanding Ceramic Work ($250).   
   BIG ARTS Phillips Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
